What is Home Emergency Cover?

While our Home Insurance covers you for the result of escape of water, flood, fire and theft, Home Emergency Cover is ideal if you need help for an emergency situation like fixing a burst pipe or repairing your boiler. 

It'll cover sudden and unexpected damage to your home, which makes it unsafe or impossible to live in or could cause a risk to health and safety. To stop the immediate emergency, you’ll be provided with an emergency repair. 

In the unfortunate event that an emergency does occur at your home, with this optional extra, we’ll arrange for a qualified tradesman from our network of approved suppliers to provide expert assistance to fix the problem, up to the cover limit of £1,000.

I'd like to add Home Emergency Cover to my policy
You can only add Home Emergency Cover to a new policy at the time of purchasing. If you have an existing policy, you can only add Home Emergency Cover if you are either moving address or renewing your policy.

To add Home Emergency Cover to your policy when getting a quote with us, simply include it when you see your initial price. If you're moving or within renewal and want to add it on, simply call us on 0333 043 2001.

How do I make changes to my home insurance policy?
