You can only purchase No Claims Discount Cover when you first take out or renew your policy with 1st Central, you must also have at least one year's worth of NCD already in order to be eligible to protect your No Claims Discount.

Do you already have Protected No Claims Discount Cover?
If you’ve got Protected No Claims Discount Cover and you make a claim, you won’t lose your No Claims Discount, and even better, you don’t need to do anything, our agents will do everything for you.
If the claim is your fault, your NCD will stay the same as it was at the start of your policy, but if the claim wasn’t your fault, then your NCD will increase at the end of your policy year.
